About this session
UEFA EURO 2028 will take place in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland between 9 June and 9 July 2028, with festivities and events reaching far beyond the eight host cities and nine stadiums that will stage matches. Inspiring change through football lies at the heart of the tournament. The organisers share the goal of delivering a positive, lasting social impact in each host nation, harnessing the power of sport to unite communities even if they are far away from the action on the pitch. The UEFA EURO 2028 Innovation Programme is a joint initiative between UEFA and UK & Ireland 2028 Limited (UK&I 2028) – the company responsible for the local delivery of UEFA EURO 2028 – to identify and support solutions that can contribute to this ambition. Together, they call on innovators to design, test and validate solutions that enhance the tournament experience while delivering sustainable and lasting benefits for volunteers, communities and tournament stakeholders. This event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from funders, understand what they are truly looking for in proposals, and ask questions in real time. By attending, participants can save time, reduce uncertainty, and increase their chances of submitting competitive, well-targeted applications while building stronger connections within the funding ecosystem.
